Surilana Annabelle - IAR 147288
Talk about your good looking pair. Annabelle is one of the most lovely medium fawn girls we have seen. Undoubtedly, those great suri looks come from her sire, a Shahrizai favourite, Pinjarra Peruvian Icon. She also has a dose of Senator in her pedigree for good measure. Her first cria, a gorgeous dark brown suri female, Shahrizai Acorn, is out of Surilana Jolly Roger, a male who will soon be very well known to all coloured suri breeders. This pair is SPECTACULAR!
To pile on the Peruvian genetics, Annabelle has been remated to Pinjarra Huayta. What a great 3-in-1 package. This group gets you in at the top floor!
Jubilation is a spectacular dark fawn suri girl out of the fantastic Pinjarra Gold Rush. She is very well grown and conformed, and has produced stunning offspring in each of her first two tries. Her first cria, SURILANA JUMBLE, is a fanastic brown (pictured below) and her 2011 effort, SHAHRIZAI STARLIGHT (pictured below), is a brilliant and lustrous SMF out of SURILANA ODIN. It is clear that Jubilation is a great producer. It comes as no surprise when you look at her pedigree - Senator, Desert Prince, Top Hat and Gold Rush.
Starlight has now been weaned, but Jubilation has been mated to Surilana Macusani Master. We cannot wait to see the result.

Abacus has proven to be a fantastic performer for Shahrizai. She has had three ripper cria in a row. Her 2010 cria, SHAHRIZAI LARAMIE, was old enough to be shown as a junior at the end of the show season, and in so doing, won a Junior Male Championship at the Queensland Alpacas on Show on the Sunshine Coast. Her 2011 cira, SHAHRIZAI ABRACADABRA, promises to be a show winner as well. He is out of Surilana Macusani Master ET, and is available for viewing. He is 3/4 Accoyo, and has all the lustre and conformation any breeder could want. He was first and reserve champion at the Gold Coast show in late August. He has now been weaned.
Abacus has a great pedigree. Her sire, Pucara Cortez, comes from the enormously successful dam, ILR Halona-Happy Fortune Accoyo, and the Accoyo ILR Top Hat. Her accoyo background and proven ability to produce top quality animals makes Abacus a fantastic buy for the serious suri breeder. She has been remated to Master and is due in the autumn.

Angelique is a a lovely girl with a solid pedigree. her dam was a Peruvian import and her sire is a ILR Top Hat boy. She has a 1/2 accoyo base and has at foot, a 3/4 accoyo SLF female, SHAHRIZAI HALO, out of Surilana Belle Boy ET. It is her second cria, and she is a fantastic mother who has heaps of milk and birthed very easily. Angelique is confirmed pregnant to ILR NGG Bentley, LMD 2 July 2011. We could not be any happier with the Arabesque family tree at Shahrizai. She arrived in QLD with her third cria, Surtierra Persia at foot, and has thrown two lovely cria in a row since then. Her 2010 cria, SHAHRIZAI AYMARA out of ILR NGG BENTLEY is a gorgeous SMF female, and her 2011 cria, SHAHRIZAI ARAPAHOE, out of SURIlANA MACUSANI MASTER ET is a lovely little boy. Persia, her third cria, has now produced a STUNNING male cria, also out of MASTER. Arabesque has certainly earned her keep on our farm.
Though her sire, the famous SOMERSET AREQUIPA KING, has proven heterozygous, it is obvious that he donated his suri gene to Arabesque. She, and each of her cria, have lovely, true-to-type suri features and fleece characteristics. She is currently remated and confirmed pregnant to ILR NGG Bentley. She is due at the beginning of March, 2012. If the result is a repeat of the 2009 cria, we will be thrilled.

It isn't often that an Icalon daughter stumbles through the for sale pages in Queensland. This is a very unique opportunity. Hanna is a strapping girl with a great frame and a very suri look. Her sire, SURILANA ICALON needs no introduction to the Australian suri breeder. He is easily the most successful herdsire despite his breeding life being cut so short. Her dam, Surilana Milady Hermoine, is a full suri out of ILR Helado.
Hanna has proven to be a very good mother. Her 2010 cria, SHAHRIZAI CALGARY, out of MARSHALL ET, is a very lustrous boy with great coverage. Her 2011 cria is a RIPPER! SHAHRIZAI HANNIBAL is a stunning cria, chock-full of lustre and very greasy, dense fleece. He is very similar to the other Master cria and we are very happy with the result. She has been remated to Master and is due in the autumn.
Danika is a fantastic female out of one of Shahrizai's all-time favourite males, the late PINJARRA PERUVIAN ICON. She has three of Australia's most famous coloured males in her background (click here to see her pedigree) and has been mated to yet another impressive coloured suri male, PINJARRA HUAYTA. In December, she had a solid dark fawn male cria, Shahrizai Tebow, who looks to be a very good animal. She is an absolute must-see for the serious coloured suri breeder.

Pinjarra Bombshell - IAR 124944
Bombshell is another from Shahrizai favourite, Pinjarra Peruvian Icon. She has a full-Peruvian pedigree, which means each of her parents was selected out of thousands of animals for their frames, their fleece characteristics, and their gorgeous suri features. Bombshell certainly got the best from each parent.
She is a tall, upright female with very suri features. Bombshell is mated to Pinjarra Huayta to reinforce that lovely medium fawn colour. This girl is perfect for the very serious suri breeder.

Shahrizai Aymara - IAR 155693
Aymara is a farm favourite out of ILR NGG Bentley. She is a very well-grown, true-to-type medium fawn suri girl with a ton to offer the coloured suri breeder. She had a lovely show career as a junior, earning a ribbon in every show she went to, even though she often was competing against a throng of "light" fawns. Her show results are listed on the Pets, News, Show Results page. She has a lovely pencilled fleece, and an outstanding conformation. Aymara now has a light fawn male at foot, sired by Surilana Belle Boy ET. She is ready to be mated to any of the boys on farm.
Aymara is offered for sale with a remate included to any of the Shahrizai-owned males. She would be a great purchase for a coloured suri breeder looking to jump over the "starter" girls and get off on the second floor.
Sunshine is a very suri-ish BC1 who gives no indication there is huacaya on the bottom half of her pedigree. She is a lovely dark fawn girl from Paltarra Simpson, a male who has had great success with back-crosses, and she has been mated to Pinjarra Huayta - LMD 27 July 2011. Sunshine is quiet, halter-trained, and we are very confident that the cria that results from the Huayta mating will be a very solid step forward.
Don't be fooled by her granddam being a huacaya. It is entirely possible for a BC1 to be a full suri. Because we cannot be certain, she has been mated to a known homozygous male. But her pedigree includes Helado and Cedar House Desert Prince. In 2010 her microns were very low (19.1) and the structure of her fleece is quite encouraging. She was 2nd in a class of 5 at the 2010 Gold Coast Show as a junior fawn suri.
