We are very thrilled with the progress of or suri herd at Shahrizai. We have focused on creating the most dense and lustrous suris we can, and we have done so by using the best males available in state and travelling to access Australia's best and most proven bloodlines. Our suri herd is diverse, dynamic and they have pedigrees full of the most successful Accoyo and Peruvian animals on the continent. We are thrilled with the feedback we have received from judges, and our suris have won a great many broad ribbons in the most competitive of classes.
SHAHRIZAI BRONCO - 169013
It has been said that Australia never saw a suri to equal Surilana Piccolo, Bronco's famous sire. The Icalon-Ma Belle pairing is responsible for so many impressive championships, and this is why we were so excited to get Bronco's dam, Jolimont Madison, pregnant to the Super Suri. And we have not been disappointed in the least. He is also a large, robust male with perfect conformation and superior fleece. He is a flat-locking, dense male, who has settled in the 22.5-23 micron range. Bronco has already produced cria who have made us proud, including a myriad of progeny who have won broad ribbons at competitive suri shows. His dam, Madison, is also a proven producer having reared the 2013 Queensland Suri of the Year, Shahrizai Big Trouble. Bronco cria are now available for inspection.

SURILANA BELLE BOY ET - 143043

Belle Boy represents the confluence of two of Surilana's best producers - the aforementioned Ma Belle and the wonderful T-Pito. Both full Accoyo, they have each left an unbelievable impact on the Australian suri population through National Supreme Champions. Belle Boy is one of Queensland's few full Accoyo males and he has already produced champions and supreme champions including Shahrizai Ob La Di Ob La Da (You know, the famous Beatles song!). What Belle Boy delivers to his cria is density. He and his progeny pump out vast amounts of fleece, even in our rugged climate. Belle Boy is also quiet and a very keen worker, able to do many successful matings in a day. He is well put together and carries a very upright, proud frame that packs on very uniform fleece. His cria have all been improvements on mum, and his daughters have already proven to be fantastic producers.
Don't miss your chance to secure these genetics for your herd. Ring about Belle Boy today. Stop by to view his 2015 cria including Shahrizai Ob La Di - Ob La Da, the SUPREME CHAMPION at the Farm Fantastic AOS Show in July 2015. He has also produced a young male that we are just giddy about - Shahrizai Ticket To Ride - who will definitely be saying hello to the world in 2016.

PUCARA TANNER - 164519

As much as we love the dam and line of Albanese, we are also smitten with Tanner's dam, Pucara Liza's La Haina, another female from the renouned Pucara Kahuna. La Haina is a line-bred Amador daughter who passes lustre to her cria (many daughters and Tanner!). When Allegro's density is added, the result was special. Tanner won a number of Supreme Champion ribbons in the Eastern Region of Victoria during his intermediate and adult show seasons. He carries a very dense, lustrous fleece with big, flat locks. Tanner is a ferocious worker, and his first cria began arriving in March of 2015. We have not been disappointed in the least, and one of his sons - multiple time champion, Shahrizai Kashmir - has already made his way into the world as a working male. With Kahuna in the US and Allegro sadly passed on, these genetics are very valuable!
THE YOUNG GUNS
The new young boys in the Shahrizai stable have us very excited, and they will all have the chance to prove themselves in the spring of 2017. Each of them not only had great show success, but they exhibit all the traits that we are looking for in our suris. They bring diversity, which we hope manifests itself in the hybrid vigour we have sought in our herd.
Shahrizai Some Like It Hot - SLIH is the most lustrous male we have ever produced. His dam, Pinjarra Celina, has given us cria each year of the highest quality. His sire, Kurrawa Red Hot So What is a National Champion who needs no introduction to suri breeders. He is a son of the incomparable Kurrawa TariQ ET. SLIH is a perfectly conformed, fine-fleeced male who has dense, wavy, flat locks across his entire body.
Shahrizai Nowhere Man - NM is a unique and impressive blend of genetics not often or easily found. His dam, Pucara Liza’s Kahuna, was an all-star in the Pucara herd, and her sire, Pucara Kahuna, has an unmatched record of success in the US, having sired more champions than any suri male on the planet. Nowhere Man’s sire, Shahrizai Bronco, adds Piccolo to that famous Kahuna line, and the result was a resounding success. He is a multiple-time Champion, and is a standout in the paddock.
Shahrizai Crash - Crash had his show career cut short when he injured his lip during his junior season. But before he left the ring, he wow’d the judges. He was awarded Champion and best MDF in each of his four shows, and was also a Supreme at Bundaberg. It was his bright, lustrous fleece that garnered him such adoration. In our ten years of breeding in QLD, he was far and away the best coloured suri we had seen in the state. His sire is a son of Jolimont Kentor, from whom he got his beautiful fawn colour.
Each of these boys is eager to work and available for inspection. Ring or email for more details.
